The Bible says: "...the GIFT of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23b)
And because Heaven is a Gift, like any other genuine gift...
No amount of personal effort, good works, or religious deeds can earn a place in heaven for you.
"By grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the GIFT of God, NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)
